A Peek on Villa Savoye

It's an old project from last semester (it's a group task), we're told to make a model of Villa Savoye; a splendid modernist villa in Poissy, France built between 1928 and 1931. Designed by Le Corbusier, a notable swiss architect known as one of the pioneers of modern architecture, Villa Savoye is one of the most influential building in modern movement, it really had an enormous influence on international modernism. It is now became a museum and it has a frequent visitors every year, particularly architecture people who want to witness this historical edifice.

Article Layout

it's just another assignment post from my favorite class, Architectural Communication Technique class, frankly I enjoy the assignments this far hahaha. on this 3rd task, the objective is to understand the basic of nifty article layout thus we're ordered to make one, the content is up to us and yes we're allowed to copy texts + images.

images & texts are courtesy of Majapahit Hotel

as you can see, I choose Majapahit Hotel as the article - it's a luxury heritage hotel in my hometown - and in case you're wondering why I pick black & white as the color scheme, well it's solely because I run out of any color scheme idea. but it's not bad, no? it even emphasizes the historical and heritage ambience, don't you think? ;)

Initial Persecution

tadaaa this is my very first assignment on this 5th semester, yes it's still the first week of college and I have to encounter this persecution already. yeah but it's not much and no need of rigorous effort as well, a handy task I suppose. the subject is Architectural Communication Technique, it teaches us how to design a good poster design, from setting the poster layout to selecting the right font.

well at this task, the lecturer wanted us to design an A4 poster about building in Yogyakarta and my choice goes to Borobudur Temple, an exquisite & enormous ancient temple. anyhow since what's important is the layout design, we are allowed to copied texts and images straight to our work, so all of these images and texts are courtesy of website.

ps: I made this with powerpoint coz I have no coreldraw/photoshop yet
